I applied for two positions: Senior Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer. This is where things became interesting, as communicated to the HR representatives for both positions. They scheduled interview dates, but these needed confirmation from the interviewers.

The interview date for the Senior Software Engineer position arrived, but the interviewer never confirmed, so that interview never occurred.

For the Lead Software Engineer position, the interview date also arrived. A different interviewer had not confirmed, so that interview was also going to be missed. However, I joined the video interview and noticed the interviewer was present, even though they had never confirmed – a rather odd situation!

It was an Indian interviewer setting up a HackerRank question. The interviewer mentioned that their CI/CD was a work in progress.

This reminded me of another job I had where a group of Indian colleagues were leading the projects (no issue with that), but they seemed to be merely checking off completed tasks with little regard for quality.

Question about declining a connection request if it is within a certain time period.

This confused me, as there was no timestamp. I asked the interviewer for clarification, but it was no help.

I figured out that the 'timestamp' was actually part of the request table and was a sequential integer per request.
