Except for the managerial round, all other rounds were okay.
I received a call from HR after an employee referral. I brushed up on all Java concepts from javaconceptoftheday.com and data structures from geeksforgeeks.org. I also prepared for Selenium and API testing.
The first technical round asked usual interview questions. The second technical round focused on data structure questions, specifically linked lists and arrays. The third round was the managerial round, where the interviewer asked about my current organization's framework for both UI and API. They also requested code for an API, and I was asked about challenges faced and some behavioral questions.
All three rounds took place on the same day. HR informed me they would provide my result within 1-2 days. After two days, I called HR, and she stated that senior managers had decided not to proceed further with my profile.
A week later, I received another call from HR, indicating I needed to attend a manager round, but with a different manager this time. I attended the manager round again. The discussion lasted only 30 minutes and felt more like an HR round. The next day, I received an update from HR that the manager rejected my profile due to not being strong technically. The manager did not ask me any technical questions but provided feedback that I was not technically strong. It felt like a complete waste of my time.
