Process

Applied through the Walmart portal.

After 5 days, a recruiter reached out and I was asked to complete a Karat assessment.

In the Karat assessment, I was asked React questions along with designing an input field using only HTML and CSS.

After 2 days, the recruiter informed me that I had cleared the assessment and would be having four virtual interviews with the team.

  • Round 1: I was asked to complete the Todo List on HackerRank along with finding groups of anagrams in an array.
  • Round 2: I was asked in-depth React questions, along with a React Native coding question for changing the theme of the app.
  • Round 3: I was asked to design a notification engine that would handle 1 million users.
  • Round 4: This was the hiring manager round, but surprisingly, I was asked to code the adding of a todo item to a todo list using just HTML/JS.

The next day, the recruiter informed me that I had cleared all rounds and they would be extending an offer in 2 days.
