If you are looking for quality engineering work, do not join the EBS team. The head of EBS does not have an engineering mindset and is highly political, which has resulted in good engineers and leaders leaving the team. The place is filled with politics, which any good engineer cannot sustain. One of the good engineering leaders who was managing a large team left, and is now managed by someone who does not have basic engineering knowledge and is transactional.
