Pay and benefits are good. I really enjoy the work that I do and the people that I work with. The flexible time off policy is implemented and well respected by leadership. I always get the time off that I ask for and am encouraged to take time off when I need it.
Leadership doesn't listen to employees unless we align and affirm their way of thinking. Most people prefer to WFH, but leadership still requires us to come into the office 3 days, without any good reason given.
Listen to people's desire to work from home. Will you be humble and listen to your employees, even if it challenges what you think is right? Just because you're at the top doesn't mean you have a better perspective. You just have a different perspective.
What lessons did we learn through COVID that justify the sacrifices of our friends and family who are no longer with us? You might have learned how much you love the office, but we learned how we don't need to sit in traffic 10 hours a week.
