3D Engineer Interview Experience - Boston, Massachusetts
Process
The in-house recruiter reached out to me through LinkedIn. After I responded, we had a very good phone screen. The next step was a phone screen with the lead of the department, then an online programming test, then an on-site interview with some whiteboarding problems. The interviews were 2-on-1 and took about half a day.
From the start, the process was very professional and was one of the better experiences I have had interviewing. The recruiter and the team did a great job selling Wayfair as a company and the role I was applying for.
So far, Wayfair has been a great place to work.
Questions
The online interview was to create some missing functions in their C# project.
The on-site question had to do with writing a function to return values of dice rolls.

The office in Boston downtown is not a great place to commute. The company culture is less remote and more "live-in the office." Given the office is in downtown, it makes it much worse, losing time to commute, greater than 2 hours.
