The process began with a standard recruiter talk. This was followed by a general one-hour technical interview with a senior individual contributor, focusing on my previous experience, projects, and achievements. Next, I participated in a code review and system design questions interview, conducted by a third-party company. During this stage, I was presented with several scenarios, such as bottlenecks and new feature requirements, for which I needed to offer solutions. In the second part of this stage, I reviewed a code file and proposed solutions for identified problems.
Subsequently, I entered a four-phase interview loop. This included one-hour discussions with three different senior managers and a system design session with another engineering manager. The senior managers asked several questions related to the previously presented scenarios, connecting them to the company's principles. The design session was a classic system design interview. The entire process spanned approximately two months.
