A recruiter called me and asked some basic questions, such as the difference between an array and a dictionary. Later, they emailed me to schedule a telephonic interview.
I contacted them back, but the recruiter's responses were not prompt. A week later, they emailed me at 10 AM to schedule an interview for 1 PM the same day. I agreed.
The interview was conducted on a coder-pad type platform and lasted for an hour. The interviewer, who seemed to be of Indian origin, asked about my background. After hearing about my quality work in the past, they appeared to become insecure and jealous. They tried their best to find minor issues, but my coding was perfect, and I completed both questions correctly in no time, which seemed to make them even more insecure. The interview ended. I immediately emailed the recruiter for an update, as I was very confident.
The recruiter did not reply for a week. When I emailed again, they informed me of my rejection. I asked for the reason, and they stated that my boundary cases were failing.
Hopefully, I will never have to interview with such a company, as my impression is that the people there are very insecure.
