This person poorly described the next steps, telling me there would be an interview with the hiring manager.
The interview with the hiring manager started 10 minutes late. This person stated they did not know they had an interview and certainly hadn't prepped. Instead of an interview, they presented a code challenge for which I was unprepared. The interviewer was also very rude.
I was not allowed to ask any questions about the role or company.
Despite newspaper reports that this is an up-and-coming company to work for, I found them disorganized and unprofessional. I wasn't surprised when they had a mass layoff shortly after I interviewed with them.
I know I will never apply to work for them.
