My issue is with the software manager. He told me he doesn't hire based on syntax knowledge, then declined to move forward based on syntax knowledge. This reasoning is illogical.
From a logic perspective, the process was extremely easy. However, the software manager saying 'it's okay to ask us questions about syntax' was a straight-up lie. If you want to proceed, do not ask the manager any questions, because he is lying to you when he says it is good to do so.
