Process

I was contacted by the recruiter after submitting my resume at a career fair.

Initially, I had a phone call with HR for a background check and discussion about the project.

After that, I had to send in a project, and then I was sent coding questions to complete within 24 hours.

After submitting it, there was no response from HR for about two weeks, even after a follow-up email.

Subsequently, I was scheduled for a final interview.

The final interview was for one hour. It initially started with a discussion about my project, after which I was asked two programming questions. I solved both questions very quickly and with the best running time; the interviewer even seemed happy and asked me how I would solve it in an inefficient way.

Two days later, the recruiter called me and told me they would let me know the decision in a couple of days.

After a couple more days, I received a rejection email.

I was truly surprised to get a rejection and still cannot figure out the reason for it.
