Software Engineer Interview Experience - Boston, Massachusetts

Process

I submitted my resume on the online portal and received a call within 10 days. The recruiter then scheduled an HR discussion. This was followed by a take-home assignment, which had to be submitted within 24 hours along with a code snippet from a previous project.

I never heard back after submitting the code. After 15 days, I received an email for the next round from the HR. This was followed by a 1-hour technical round, which consisted of questions about my resume and basic computer science concepts.

It has been more than 15 days, and I haven't heard back from the recruiter. This has been a totally unprofessional interview process. I believe candidates deserve the courtesy of feedback or an update on the status of their interview process.

I would not join the company even if offered a position due to this unethical behavior.
