The recruiter contacted me through a career site and discussed my background. Then, they set up a phone technical interview. The interview was hosted by a third-party interviewing site and consisted of both system design and coding. I loved the depth of the system design questions. They required a lot of thinking, and I found it harder than the coding interview, which was of medium difficulty. Overall, despite the outcome, I think it was a great opportunity to understand my shortcomings.
5 system design questions about making various design choices.
The questions were set up in such a way to understand your design experience.
2 coding questions, both of medium difficulty. Again, well-described questions.
