Wayfair's valuation of stock is not the same way the market values it. Be sure to ask for a TC that is based off of real market numbers. TC = Base + Stocks (No bonus).
If the role requires you to be available 24/7, think twice! Depending on how large/small the team is or how intelligent the members are, your life is going to be messed up. If you don't mind being on PagerDuty 24/7 for two weeks a month, be sure to ask for more TC. There is no overtime pay for being available or working in the middle of the night.
Get clarity on the leveling (Associate Director/Staff/Senior). Get to know who is ultimately responsible technically to fix an issue in the middle of the night. I believe HR misguides you so as to pay less.
