Advice to Management

Look, Wayfair.com wants you to believe it's a start-up with a casual mentality. It's young, hip, and cool. It is not a start-up. The company is a corporate entity that lets you wear jeans to work.

The only "start-up" characteristic it has is the fact the company pays its employees so poorly. The turnover rate is so high because there is absolutely no transparency between management and the employees. Or it's because they'll offer a six-month contract and then reward you with a starting salary so low you can't help but guffaw at it.

But then again, you're probably a recent graduate and this is your first real job, so you take it.

Start valuing your employees.
