Great company, gone corporate
Wayfair has an amazing culture for this size company, and its lower-grade positions pay above the industry average. It has changed to be more data-driven. Everyone makes a difference, and it has learned from past mistakes.
The fun startup is mostly gone, replaced by corporate politics. They make an effort to still be fun, but it feels like the decision-makers aren’t part of that conversation. Data drives decisions well, but politics get in the way at higher levels. I hear pay is not so great the higher you go.
Scale back the work/life balance slightly and scale up pay. Stock is great, but pay is better in this market.
