Scaling your knowledge of tech and tools, documentation, and tech writing will be done rapidly if you work in the Platform team. I learned a lot working with the Service Mesh Team. Amazing people all around who are always willing to share knowledge and help you get unblocked.
Learning curve could be steep.
So many internally built tools and design processes.
Documentation exists, but would hardly ever be enough.
Complex layers of abstraction.
I'm not sure I know enough about the business to give management advice. CSN seem like they are good people. I will try to make the business successful by not laying off more of my friends, though. It's not fair.
