Pros

Pay is good. Benefits are good also.

Cons

Layoffs - There are silent layoffs happening every week, and big layoffs at least once a year. It doesn't matter how hard you work; the hardest-working people on my teams have all been laid off.

Days Off - You get 7 holidays total, and you end up working on them anyway because they're "sales days." Teams are tiny, so when you try to take your vacation, it is usually an issue.

Toxic Environment - Instead of trying to make employees work together for the better of the company, management pits you against your coworkers.

Upper Management - The CTO is an ex-HR exec who knows nothing about technology. She spends her time traveling, and you get the privilege to read her weekly emails about how great her travels were that week. Everyone else is just as incompetent.

India - They are laying people off in the US and moving jobs to India.

And finally, if you haven't heard, the CEO expects you to blend life and work together and spend all your waking hours working for a company that will lay you off next quarter.

Advice to Management

Stop lying.
