Can be a good place to work if you get a good manager.
As a software engineer, don't expect to learn any new technology. You'll be overloaded with too much bureaucracy, making it very difficult to get anything done. The pay rate is somewhat lower compared with other companies. There are some good managers at Wells, but those are few and far between.
The scandal with the opening of fake customer accounts shows how dishonest Wells Fargo has been with both its customers and its employees.
