Great people. I loved my coworkers and made very good friends.
Every time the minimum wage was raised for the company, they didn't give adjustments to current, tenured team members. Someone working there for over 20 years ended up making one dollar over the company's minimum wage by the time they left. That's incredibly sad. They should take care of their tenured employees and help them succeed financially; it's in the company mission statement, for crying out loud.
Care about your team members. Really listen and offer empathy when someone is struggling, and help people advance in their careers.
I was contacted by the recruiter and scheduled an interview for next week. The interview went for an hour, and I was asked about some basic database queries and behavioral types.
It was good and everything went well. First, there were 3 rounds, and then an HR round to finish it all. It is a good company to work for; it's motivating and all.
Easy. The manager was very nice and down to earth. There was no "manager speak" or neutering of the key messages he tried to communicate. The manager recommended many sources for reviewing his LOB.
