Interesting Engineering Problems: For those who are passionate about diving deep into complex problems and coming up with innovative solutions, this place offers a plethora of opportunities. You won't find yourself bogged down with mundane tasks; instead, you'll be tackling challenging engineering hurdles that will enrich your experience and sharpen your skills. 3. Smart Engineering Team: Surrounding yourself with intelligent and passionate individuals is beneficial in numerous ways. Not only will you learn from the best, but the collaboration, discussions, and brainstorming sessions are truly stimulating and rewarding.

Cons: As the company scales up, it is evident that there's a surge in processes. While some processes can be beneficial for structuring the workflow, the increasing bureaucracy might slow down decision-making and dampen the spirit of innovation.

Pros: Get to work with great people. Great pay and benefits. Frequent exposure to customer stories reminds us who we are working for and the good we are doing for them. It is very inspiring to be enabling small business owners to make their dreams come true. The massive focus on value-driven work is a huge selling point for me. I feel like my values are aligned with the stated values of the company, and we are all expected to strive for them.

Cons: It can be exhausting at times since the work is never done. Not having dedicated QA can be draining since engineers need to mitigate and manage every step of bug reporting, including routing or attempting to duplicate issues.

Pros: Whatnot is an extremely fun product with an equally fun team to match. Engineering teams are constantly delivering meaningful features to Whatnot's users at a fast pace! There's always exciting projects in the works and new and interesting challenges to be solved.

Cons: Some of the engineering work can be difficult. Both timelines and technical work can be challenging.
