Process

The recruiter found me on LinkedIn and we arranged a first get-to-know-us phone call.

This mainly consisted of questions regarding OO, TDD, CI, Agile, and my background.

Then, there was a Skype call with a technician, which focused on my CV and my experience with the technologies I had used in my previous position (examples of my work, problems I solved, etc.).

The next level was a UML technical test, where I was asked to design a real-world system using simple UML classes and associations. The interviewers helped me during the process; it was mainly designed through discussion with them.

After that, I was asked to go onsite for a set of interviews. I had 1:1 interviews with 3 people, each specializing in their field.

The questions were mainly behavioral and regarding my background. The most technical part was with an Engineer, who tried to understand the depth to which I had grasped the technologies I had used.

People were extremely kind during the whole process, and I rarely felt I was being interviewed; mostly, I felt like I was having a discussion with them.
