Applied after a presentation by Workday at my college (they requested a C.V. and Cover Letter).
Contacted a week later about an interview.
The interview was held one-on-one with the Manager of the team (approximately 30 minutes).
Questions
Interview questions ranged from:
General:
- Describe teamwork and college projects
Technical:
- What's your favorite language? (Java in my case; Workday is pretty much run on Java).
Then simple and basic technical questions about it.

Cons: Tremendous growth over the past six years makes it feel like a large corporation, which it is. It suffers from the usual scaling challenges. More political than before, but less than other companies.

Pros: Excellent stock and ESPP, a relaxed working environment that's very flexible.
Cons: My final pay is not accurate and is missing compensation for time off that I didn't take.
I have emailed HR multiple times and got ghosted as soon as I returned the company laptop.
It's not a tech company, and they're not looking for tech improvements. The team felt demotivated, and even though we were constantly asked for feedback, there was a strong hush-hush culture. Every time something was brought up, we were shut down straightaway.
