Process

I was found by a headhunter, and then I was quite quickly scheduled for an initial interview with two people from an external company (about 1 hour).

I passed this interview and was then interviewed over Skype with two developers from Workday (about 30 minutes).

Based on this, I received feedback that they are not interested in me for now.

Pros: Management and coworkers are friendly and excel at their jobs. I have the freedom to work remotely when necessary, and I am given a good work-life balance.

Cons: Proprietary technology is a mixed bag. While I think it's a powerful programming language, I think it has hampered me in my learning. However, many people have made moves to other teams that do not use proprietary language, so there is room to move within the company.

Cons: Proprietary technology is a mixed bag. While I think it's a powerful programming language, I think it has hampered me in my learning. However, many people have made moves to other teams that do not use proprietary language, so there is room to move within the company.
