This was about 6 years ago. Started with a screening call with a recruiter. Then an in-person session with two technical interviews and a short chat with a manager. Mostly casual, although the first interview had two people in the room while I whiteboarded, which was intense as it was one of my first ever technical interviews.

Pros: -unlimited PTO/WFH for real
-not in SF proper, so it's cheaper and a reverse commute
-great work life balance, people sometimes leave early to pick up kids but will keep working in the evening
-managers who care
Cons: -not in SF proper
-perks pale in comparison
-some teams are worse than others, some teams are better than others
-need more pride in the company
-our stock isn't going anywhere

Pros: Great culture, friendly people.
Communicative and personable management.
Seniors are not condescending; lots of opportunities for mentorship.
Clean code, smart people.
Cons: Complicated architecture.
One proprietary technology is used, which is mostly unavoidable for developers. This creates a dependency on app developers who know the toolset.

Pros: Free swag, free food, and a lot of fun activities.
Group activities, night outs, etc.
A lot of great technology to work with.
You'll get the support you need if you're lined up with a manager who isn't lazy.
Cons: A couple of slackers who seem to put on a show that they're busy but are really not.
Incompetent ones can waste your time.
During your interview, make sure you ask a lot of questions so you can weed out if it's for you.
If you're looking to just get paid and be a sheep, then you'll slip on by.
