Pros: You see great talent in Yahoo!. You will be proud to work for the most visited internet portal. You will be paid more than the industry standards and competitors. Yahoo! supports and contributes to open-source technologies. You get an opportunity to work on the latest and most demanding technologies. The only reason I am with Yahoo is that I am proud to be part of the application development which is used by millions of people. I am happy to be at Yahoo!

Cons: No work-life balance. You will hear the same from most of the Bay Area companies. The decision-making at the top management seems wrong in many areas, such as acquiring new companies and developing/investing in new projects.

Pros: A good company to work for.

Cons: None at all. My group was great.

Pros: Great culture, big teams, open for innovation.

Cons: Little lengthy processes. As a contractor, I did not get much chance to modify existing processes. Had I been a full-time employee, I would have definitely got more scope to change it.
