Process

Phone interview about OOP, coding, OS, threads, and so on. I did well.

Then I went for the onsite interview at Champaign, IL. There were 4 rounds of technical interviews. I did well except for one round where a rude, strong-accented Indian interviewer asked me corner knowledge about Linux shell programming and Perl.

Questions

The long Perl code.

Pros: Great place to work for. Some of the most intelligent colleagues I've had the opportunity to work with, and all very enthusiastic.

Cons: Typical large company woes: it's often hard to move up within the company due to its large structure. One of the most common reasons I hear of colleagues leaving is the lack of career growth opportunity.
