Easy, laid-back most of the time (in my group anyway).

Working on weekends or at night is very rare.

Pay is okay - probably in line with the industry.

If you are looking for a place to coast on by or if you just want a 9-5, this is the place.

• Company not going anywhere.
• Senior management's lack of direction permeates the company down to lower management.
• Most simply view it as just a job; they don't care about anything other than the work they are given.

If you constantly chase the market's quarterly expectations, you will only sacrifice the company's long-term prospects.

And you should start caring about the products themselves and stop caring about silly goals like the lofty 50 million more users. People just don't show up because you've added a new banner ad; they come because you built a good, new product.
