Talked to the recruiter for the company and then the hiring manager. Both people seemed incredibly burnt out. The recruiter talked about the typical stuff a recruiter says on the first contact with a company. There was no sales pitch on why to work for the company, which is a bit unusual. It was purely factual. The hiring manager talked about the position. The back and forth was on the higher end of awkward as far as interviews go. There was absolutely no emotion. I suspect, before even entering the interview, the decision was already made not to hire me.
