I took the next four weeks over the holiday season to prepare for the phone interview.

1. The phone interview was with a Senior Software Engineer who was prompt, very respectful, and asked a coding question and a few behavioral questions (ZG core values).

I received a pass and was called for a virtual onsite.

1. I had a prep call with the recruiter, who coached me thoroughly on what to expect and gave great pointers and a detailed guide to prepare.

I took another few weeks.

1. The onsite was over two days, plus a lunch coupon, which was very sweet of them! The interviewers were all very friendly and pleasant. I felt the questions were more challenging than the phone screen. The interviewers helped push me in the right direction when needed, never disrespectful at all. I enjoyed it overall.
