Developers who have been at Zillow are dominating at Zillow, and other developers are required to comply with old developers or they are forced to resign.
Politics wins at Zillow.
No growth opportunities.
Old jerk developers need to go.
Try to make decisions when things become hard. If an issue bubbles up to management, they need to step in and resolve things rather than keep mum and be neutral. This only leads to and encourages a toxic environment, which is not healthy and doesn't let anyone grow.
