Pros

I don't have to call myself a "Zoman" anymore. Really, who thought this was a good idea?

Coworkers are mostly good people, fun and intelligent.

Cons

Though it's not a startup – in fact, a privately held company – they want you to work like a startup. That means zero work-life balance. You are expected to eat, sleep, and work.

You come to the office around 9:00 AM (actually, they want you to come around 8:30 AM) and are expected to work until 8:30 PM. That is if there is nothing urgent going on (there is always something urgent going on).

Even taking a weekend off is a problem. Working on Saturdays is mandatory, and there are plenty of people who work on Sundays as well.

This is not a normal company. Zomato thinks that is a good thing: that harder work and longer hours mean better work. Well, it's not.

Advice to Management

Why bother? They won't listen.
