I joined ZoomInfo recently (just about 2 months ago), and I've been very happy with my decision! I thought I'd share my observations, experience, and perspective so far. Hopefully, this will help anyone considering (or not yet considering) ZI.
The tech stack is pretty awesome. We build stuff on GCP (Dataflow, BigQuery, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, Kafka, Apache Beam, Spark, etc.) using Scala, Java, and Python.
We play with Vector and Graph databases (Pinecone and Neo4J + Cypher).
We deal with Big Data and run services at scale.
The roadmap is exciting and packed with challenging problems and impactful projects.
There are a ton of learning and growth opportunities.
My co-workers are talented and ambitious.
The environment is engaging, collaborative, supportive, and inclusive.
We have good work-life balance and an overall benefits package.
I was originally going to say "on-call," but the rotation is not bad at all. So, I suppose I don't have any cons to share. In general, though, on-call is nothing specific to ZoomInfo anyway.
Two interview rounds: The first involves coding with a team member. The second, led by the hiring manager, focuses on past experience and behavioral questions. Coding round: display count of alphabets in a given string.
The interview process included: * Human resources interview * Two technical interviews: * Coding testing * Whiteboard design, where you had to explain a project you had done and how you would improve it.
I completed two rounds of tech interviews and a managerial round. I cleared all the rounds but have received no communication from HR. I spent time preparing for these interviews, but in the end, it felt like a waste of time and effort.
