Process

Got an email from a recruiter and had a call with them, followed by a 30-minute call with the Hiring Manager. I was called for a 4-hour on-site interview, including lunch. The interview included a 30-minute presentation, followed by six one-on-one sessions, and lunch.

Only two people showed up for the presentation. In the one-on-one sessions, everyone was asking irrelevant questions regarding Ethernet and SOC. One guy from the Hardware team was asking questions from his phone with no knowledge of my background. The other interviewers were okay, and I got a tour of their facility.

After four days, I got a rejection email.

One thing that stood out to me was the belief that they could build an EV car solely because they have a few ex-Tesla people, which I think is absolute nonsense.

Questions

Why is Ethernet faster than CAN?

What is the advantage of LIN over CAN, apart from cost?
