The interview process involved:

• One HackerRank coding test
• One telephonic interview
• Several confusing management and technical rounds.

They never inform you about the type of round that will follow. I would advise going in with zero expectations.

Somehow, I believe they were trying to gauge knowledge of the latest technologies in the market. I suspect they are still working with outdated technologies. They need to improve their standards.

They are looking for Google Search Engine Results Engineers. Let me explain: a person in an upper position comes and asks questions by Googling. They expect you to answer exactly as the search results show.

Addressing Zscaler: I feel pity for the whole team. This is never going to work. You want someone who can answer, but not someone who can approach the problem in many different ways. Best of luck to you guys.
