Amazon Devices is seeking a DevOps Operation Engineer to join their innovative team that designs and engineers high-profile devices like the Kindle family of products. This role combines software development and operational expertise, focusing on maintaining and improving critical infrastructure components.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting critical service components, including Continuous Integration and Release Build systems. They will need to demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.

Key responsibilities include performing system maintenance, writing automation scripts, managing incidents, and coordinating with project teams to resolve complex technical challenges.   • Perform daily monitoring, maintenance and support tasks for critical service and infrastructure components
  • Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot tools and system issues
  • Perform remote administration and configuration
  • Write toolkit with scripting languages for operations
  • Follow escalation procedures for unresolved issues
