Network Development Engineer, AWS Network Development

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their Network Fabric Engineering (NFE) team. This role is crucial in building, deploying, and scaling Amazon networks that support AWS across multiple global datacenters. The position sits within the Core Networking team, focusing on Data Center networks and interconnectivity solutions.

The ideal candidate will work with the Availability, Routing and Compliance (ARC) team, ensuring network security compliance and optimal performance. You'll be responsible for implementing network changes, collaborating with automation teams, and leading network projects in areas of sustaining engineering, deployment, and scaling.

AWS offers a comprehensive compensation package, including competitive base pay ranging from $127,400 to $212,800 depending on location, plus equity and benefits. The role requires 4+ years of network engineering experience and strong expertise in IP routing protocols and technologies.

Key responsibilities include creating and implementing network changes, working with automation teams on scaling tools, troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining networking standards. You'll be part of a 24x7 on-call rotation and work closely with Network/Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations.
