Description For Security Support Engineer, Vulnerability Management and Remediation

Join Amazon's Vulnerability Management & Remediation Operations (VMRO) team as a Security Support Engineer in Sydney, Australia. This role is part of Amazon Security's global team responsible for assessing, detecting, and driving the remediation of vulnerabilities across Amazon's vast ecosystem. You'll work at the intersection of cybersecurity and engineering, helping to protect one of the world's largest technology infrastructures.

As a Security Support Engineer, you'll be instrumental in launching and improving vulnerability detection campaigns, working directly with Campaign Owners to enhance quality and effectiveness. Your role involves deep technical analysis of vulnerabilities affecting Amazon's infrastructure, services, and applications, while collaborating with builder teams to implement crucial security fixes.

The position requires a strong security mindset and technical expertise in cloud security, particularly with AWS services and security technologies.
