Amazon's Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) group is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Platform Engineering and Services team. The position involves building highly available, scalable real-time fulfillment systems and creating a unified platform with machine learning capabilities.

As a senior engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting and implementing solutions that enhance FC associates' experience through better tools and process improvements. The role spans across various types of Amazon FCs worldwide, including robotic FCs, sortable, non-sortable, Prime Now, Fresh, and Flexi facilities. You'll work with cutting-edge technology for order fulfillment, tackling unique challenges that require innovative solutions.

The Platform Engineering and Services team leverages data, process improvement, and innovative technologies to provide comprehensive engineering excellence solutions across AFT's product portfolios. You'll be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from scoping and design to implementation and delivery. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 based on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k), and parental leave options.
