Compound Eye is seeking a skilled Geometric Computer Vision Engineer to join its US team focused on enabling machines to understand their surroundings in 3D and real-time. The company's VIDASâ„¢ technology uses passive sensors to create dense, semantic 3D representations for vehicle and robot navigation, offering a fully redundant alternative to LiDAR and radar. With existing revenue and backing from leading investors, Compound Eye serves customers in automotive, agriculture, healthcare, and defense.
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of core technologies such as real-time perception, 3D reconstruction, and visual-inertial odometry. Responsibilities include developing state-of-the-art algorithms for robotic perception, writing production code in C++ for various platforms including GPUs, and analyzing the performance of computer vision algorithms. The role also involves the potential to help recruit and lead a team of engineers.
The compensation ranges from $155K to $185K and includes equity. This is a remote position based in the US, with occasional travel required. This is an excellent opportunity to impact cutting-edge technology in a growing company.
