Description For Power Platform Developer

GDIT is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support NASA's modernization efforts through the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) program. This role focuses on developing and implementing enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint technologies. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Application Division transformation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, along with strong SharePoint development skills. You'll be responsible for creating custom applications, automated workflows, and data-driven insights that enhance NASA's enterprise business solutions.

Responsibilities For Power Platform Developer

  • Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Design, develop, and implement complex solutions using SharePoint and Power Platform technologies
  • Create effective business applications and provide data-driven insights
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand needs and provide technical solutions
  • Stay up to date with latest updates, features, and best practices

Requirements For Power Platform Developer

  • 2-5 years of experience as Developer or Software Engineer with Microsoft enterprise applications
  • 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience in SharePoint architecture, development, and customization
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance best practices
  • Experience in conducting workshops and training sessions
  • Must be able to obtain NASA Public Trust Clearance
  • US Citizenship Required
