Job Description

Pigment, a rapidly growing AI-powered business planning platform, is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their innovative team. Founded in 2019, Pigment has already secured nearly $400M in funding and serves industry leaders like Unilever, Snowflake, and Siemens. With a team of 500+ across global offices, they're revolutionizing how businesses approach planning and decision-making.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be at the heart of developing performance-critical systems that process millions of records in real-time. The role requires at least 3 years of professional experience in backend engineering, with proficiency in languages like C#/.NET, Java, Go, Rust, or Python. You'll be tackling exciting technical challenges such as real-time data computation, performance optimization in distributed environments, and scaling systems for enterprise use cases.

Pigment offers a competitive compensation package including equity, comprehensive health insurance, and flexible working arrangements. You'll join a collaborative, inclusive team focused on solving meaningful problems in their beautiful Paris office or through their hybrid work model.

The company's rapid growth, prestigious client base, and recent recognition as a Visionary in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ make this an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a scale-up environment. If you're passionate about clean code, system scalability, and working on challenging problems that directly influence business decisions, this role offers the perfect blend of technical complexity and business impact.
