Salesforce is seeking a talented and experienced software engineer to join their internal Salesforce Platform development team. As a Platform Developer, you'll be responsible for building responsive designs for scale and performance on the Salesforce Platform, working with the latest releases and getting instant feedback from thousands of internal users. The role requires expertise in Salesforce platform programming, including Apex, LWC, Aura, and Visualforce, along with strong knowledge of various Salesforce APIs and web technologies.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Salesforce platform development and will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where transparent communication and feedback are valued. You'll be part of a team that drives product development through user experience, working closely with engineers, product managers, and UX experts to build world-class features for internal Salesforce users.
Key technical requirements include extensive understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and database languages. The role offers the opportunity to work on highly scalable products and contribute to improving the development process and codebase. Additional desired skills include experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, Mulesoft data solutions, Tableau, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Salesforce DX.

- Develop, test, and deliver highly scalable products
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and UX experts to build world-class features
- Update software or enhance existing software capabilities
- Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model
- Design and complete necessary work to ensure code quality
Requirements For Salesforce Platform Developer-SMTS/LMTS
- 5+ years of experience programming on the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Aura and Visualforce)
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, Bulk, SOAP, Platform Events, Streaming)
- Extensive understanding of Object Oriented design patterns such as MVC
- Extensive understanding of HTML and CSS
- 2+ years experience with JavaScript
- Expertise with relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
- Experience with data modeling design
- Deep understanding of web standards & technologies
- Ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Experience developing in an enterprise environment
