How do I make use of Taro (Premium) while working a full time job and doing a masters part time?

I work as a software engineer remotely, and I'm also pursuing a Master's in Computer Science part-time. My days are packed with work responsibilities, attending classes, working on assignments, and maintaining my physical health by going to the gym. On top of that, I have household chores and miscellaneous events that take up additional time. Despite this busy schedule, I want to make the most out of Taro (Premium).

How can I effectively integrate Taro into my daily routine to maximize its benefits without overwhelming myself? Any tips or strategies for balancing learning with such a packed schedule would be greatly appreciated!

I have some courses in mind - Code Quality, Productivity, etc. How should I take out time to watch them?

Some tips for balancing multiple tasks would be nice.

We designed courses to easily pick up where you left off, or to surgically watch the relevant videos for you. (A course consists of 20+ videos, with each one being short enough that you can get the value from it.)

A few tips to get value from Taro:

    • Focus on an outcome, both in terms of work and in terms of Taro usage.
      • For example, for the code quality course, the outcome could be to land 5 PRs with less than one round of revision.
      • For Taro usage, give yourself a deadline to ask a question about something you watched from the code quality course.
    • Use "in-between" time to benefit from Taro. People will often space out or just play games during their commute -- going through relevant Taro discussions/videos could be a great option here.
    • Talk to people. Commit to attending an event where you meet someone else. Some Taro members have scheduled recurring meetings with other Taro members across months to discuss their thoughts/ideas on topics they explored on Taro.

With courses in particular, Taro is well set-up for you to do a little bit of bite-sized learning every day. To incorporate it into your routine, I recommend setting up a recurring calendar block (e.g. 15 minutes 3 days a week for the lightest option) where in each block, you watch 1-2 Taro lessons and write down 1 learning from them to apply next week.

To be even more tactical, you can easily apply the learnings from the code quality course literally tomorrow if you jump straight to the "Pull Requests" section: https://www.jointaro.com/course/level-up-your-code-quality-as-a-software-engineer/one-diff-one-thesis/
