Event description

In the last two decades, more money and attention have gone to early-stage startups. It's easier and cheaper than ever to start a startup, especially if you're an engineer!

This session will be a discussion about a common first step for engineers starting a company: getting pre-seed funding (generally $100K - $500K) from an accelerator.

  • Taro (this platform!) is a YC-funded startup from S22. Rahul will share thoughts about how Taro got in and what he learned.
  • We'll have time for a few startups to share their idea and we will collectively provide feedback on the idea and how to best frame it. Please do not share any slide decks, just a few seconds of explanation followed by discussion.
