Cons: - Leadership surrounds themselves with "yes" people, and anyone who implies that the CTO's ideas aren't brilliant are sent away, and managed out. - Roughly annual layoffs. - Very small severance compared to what is being offered from similar layoffs. - New hire directors are no different from the C-suite; they pretend to listen, and then do the opposite. - If you're looking to join from anywhere other than India, you should expect to have your position removed in the future.

Pros: - Work that is challenging and impactful. Being in a startup, you are able to quickly and clearly see the fruits of your labour. - The company is growing extremely fast, with many new and interesting projects in the pipeline. - Pay that is very competitive.

Cons: Working across timezones means you may not always get timely help, and you gotta learn to be an independent learner.

Pros: - The talent is amazing. You feel surrounded by A and A+ players only. - Everyone is incredibly humble. I have never encountered anyone who is condescending or smug. - No limits on impact. I constantly feel pushed to achieve more in an empowering way. - Great mentorship. - Humble leadership that communicates decisions very well. - It feels like you are working with people that will go on to do amazing things beyond Abnormal as well! - Ship impactful work on day 1. - Fun off-sites are done a few times a year with the whole team.

Cons: - There are offices in SF and NY, but people are pretty committed to working from home. The office is still slowly coming back to life.
