Started under Tech Transformation (Project Management), I asked the training lead if I could do Software Engineering (Modern Engineering), they allowed me and supported me in this change, and that's in the first month, which shows the level of support you can get with the right people.
Everyone is friendly and supportive, willing to help and go the extra mile to check on you.
Training is very tailored to the project you're going to do so, it is positive because it covers all the fundamentals but negative because you initially have less of a say in what you want to learn.
There is documentation and a way to get help for everything, there is so much that sometimes it can be overwhelming.
The starting salary is low compared to the average post-university engineering salary, £31400.
Update starting salary to around £35000 in line with the market.
Last interview, the MD didn't seem interested. They seemed bored before I joined. The MD wasn't able to ask questions beyond their question script, which HR provided. They never seemed interested in the candidate (which could have been true for lots
6 rounds: * Online CV check * Online Assessment round * Task based interview * Strengths based interview * Technical interview * MD interview The technical interview has 2 halves. The first half is showing a project, and the second half
It goes through stages. First, online tests, then in-person interviews, and at the end, there are technical interviews. I did not reach that stage. Make sure to be prepared for tough questions on AI.
