Pros

Just the Company Name: Adobe

Cons

Its Hire-Treat like a slave-Fire. Experience from a large US telecom project given below.

  1. Respect - Vendor workers are treated like slaves. The Adobe direct employees think they are superior humans. It will be evident in the tone of communication and actions; you will have a nightmare.

  2. Work-life balance – No work timings as such, calls during IST and US times, weekend work, and you will be asked to work on public holidays. Your planned leaves will be questioned, but the direct employees will have special privileges like well-being holidays and are treated as if only they have families to take care of.

  3. Work culture – Plans keep changing, targets keep changing. Management doesn’t have coordination with their counterparts onshore and is dead scared of the client. They nod their head for everything the client says, then they mess up your life when it comes to delivering. Working styles of managers will shock you; you will have heart attacks when you are just pulled into calls as per their wish. Contractors are treated like students who need to learn from Adobe employees; your previous experiences don’t matter. If you are not a bootlicker, then exit can be anytime and is always around the corner.

Again – THINK THINK and THINK AGAIN before you accept an offer.
