The interview process was long, lasting from January to August.
It consisted of five stages:
Each stage required a month for establishment and for receiving a response.
Finally, during an interview in Bangkok, the summary interview indicated that they wished to continue and an offer would come within a week. I was encouraged to start looking for homes and schools for my children, and to plan my relocation (at my own expense).
Within a week, there was no offer, no email, nothing. After ten days, I received an email stating that more time was needed because the CTO was on vacation, preventing anyone from signing the offer.
Two different excuses were provided in the following weeks.
After a month, I sent an email requesting a final answer.
I received two emails from two different people involved in the process. The first mentioned another candidate, and the second cited a budget problem.
This was very strange and unreliable. To be honest, even if an offer had been sent after a month, it would not have looked good.
