I joined Airwallex in June 2020, and over the past almost 6 years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow very quickly.
I started with QA work for the PA team, and over time expanded into tool development and team infrastructure improvement. What I appreciate most is that there are always new challenges and opportunities to learn.
The scope of work keeps evolving, which has helped me continuously build new skills and make progress in my career. I’ve also had the chance to contribute beyond my original role, which makes the work both rewarding and meaningful.
Because the business grows fast, priorities and scope can change quickly, which sometimes creates ambiguity. This can be exciting, but it also means people need to adapt quickly and be comfortable with change. In some cases, processes and cross-team alignment could be improved to make collaboration more efficient.
Continue investing in clearer processes and stronger cross-functional communication as the company scales. Airwallex offers great opportunities for people to grow, and with more structured knowledge sharing and alignment across teams, it could help employees move even faster and collaborate even more effectively.
